Default small yellow spot on gpw

so i washed and waxed my car yesterday. however, after sponging down with sonus car shampoo and then scrubbing with klassse all in one, this small yellow spot remains on my beloved gpw. I cant get it out. it was found under a small amount of bird crap i wiped away. its not raised or anything and it seems like it just "stained" the paint. is this possible??? when i get home from work i am gonna try to use the sonus clay bar with spray on it. its not big (like a 1/8 the size of a dime) but i notice it and cant stop thinking about it.

any product recs?

The pictures would be helpful. If it's stained, you may need to compound the paint to remove it.

You could try Sonus Restore 1 and then follow up with their polish (2) and then their sealant (3). Same thing with Poorboys---use 3 then 2.5 and then 1.

The idea is to start with something harsh and then build it back up to work out what marring you created.

Of course, you should always start with something that isn't overly harsh like Poorboys 2 or 2.5. If that doesn't work, pull out the big guns and grab the 3. Run that with a yellow pad on the PC and follow with an orange pad and 2.5 and then a white pad with 1 and then top it with some Poorboys EX by hand or with a Lake Country gray pad. BLING-BLING!

Let us know when you have the pics ready!

does sound like a paint stain... and i agree that pics might help

shumax's plan should work-
i like to try it the other way... its all opinion and preference at this point-
maybe a paint cleaner first (its like a swirl remover.. a very light polish)- then inspect. if that gets it, all you gotta do is rewax it.
if it doesnt get it, then you can either "move up" (to a fine cut then a compound), or just start at the top and go down... and as shumax indicates, you always step back down (in intensity of polishes)

Wow, that was so eloquently stated.

In all reality though, keeping a MF towel or two and bottle of your favorite QD in the car at all times isn't a bad idea. If you're a wacko like us then you'll probably have a full line of car detailing products stored in the car so that you can take care of those "shitty" emergency situations at a moments notice.

i will try to borrow my friends camera this weekend. but from wut i am hearing i will need to order more supplies from autotopia. I think i will start keeping the mf towel and some supplies in the trunk along with a bb gun for those ****ING birds.

also, whenever i wash my car and apply the klasse, these little flys seem to love it and cling to my car. anyone else experience this? is it something in the products that they are attracted to (or its probably just the hawt grand prix white paint)?

Would this be similar to sap stains? I have experienced after effect from sap. I have had great success with zaino claybar. It takes a little effort.
