Thanks,
I can't seem to find anything here about how to repair. I assume I just need to apply a patch on the inside. I just not sure what to use to patch it and what sort
of adhesive to use.
The outside of our tops is Vinyl but is the inside too?
Anybody got the answer here?

I am wanting to know the same thing. I have one small slit on each side where the top folds. Tey are maybe 1" long and I was wondering if there was any way to repair this. Otherwise, I am going to purchase a new glass top.

from the link above- easier to understand with the manual:
"The S2000 shop manual has this to say about top repairs. My scanner just died, or I could scan in the numerous drawings that go along with it.
The drawings show a square being cut out where the hole is. Then a patch is made in an identical size. Finally a larger square is cut out which goes on the under side and the boarder of larger square is glued in place. This becomes the base for the indentical sized patch to be sandwiched in. Thus the outside is still smooth.
1. The following tools are required to repair the soft top cloth.s
Repair cloths
Adhesive (Sunstar 332, or equivalent)s
Utility knifes
Rulers
Sandpaper
2. Apply a piece of the repair cloth to inside surface of the soft top cloth at the damaged portion. Cut the damaged cloth and repair cloth along a ruler with a utility knife.
1. UTILITY KNIFE
2. DAMAGED CLOTH
3. REPAIR CLOTH
4. RULER
5. REPAIR CLOTH
3. Cut the repair cloth to be used as lining at the repair opening as shown.
1. 30 - 50 mm (1.2 - 2.0 in.)
2. REPAIR CLOTH (For lining)
3. REPAIR CLOTH (For lining)
4. REPAIR CLOTH
4. Polish the repair cloth to be used as lining where adhesive will be applied.
5. Apply the adhesive to the repair cloth and soft top cloth as indicated by the arrows.
1. SOFT TOP CLOTH
2. REPAIR CLOTH
3. REPAIR CLOTH (For lining)
4. ADHESIVE
6. Push firmly on the repair cloths.
7. Scrape or wipe the excess adhesive off with a soft shop towel dampened with alcohol.
8. Let the adhesive dry. The adhesive drying time follows the manufacturer
