Be careful with that stuff... it gets really slippery when it goes on the tires.

i have not tried it, but did note that they make big claims that it does not spit (fling):

Eagle One Tire Wet applied with the applicator sponge is the best I have found other than Black Magic Tire Wipes....but those tire wipes were discontinued (to my disappointment).

i've in the past used meguiar's gel, and after it flung from my tires, it's left some brown residue in the end. does anyone know of a way to get rid of that?

You will probably think I am nuts, but I apply my tire shine once a day...after I am done driving the car for the day. I always use an old rag and with some elbow grease, wipe the tire off to get any dirt/dust stuck to the tire off. Then I apply the tire shine.

A rag used to remove the gunk helps A LOT. Back in the day, I used a product called Bleech Wite to get the tires super clean. I found that does some damage to the finish on alloy wheels, so I found a better way to get the job done.

I just wipe the tires after letting the Meguiar's Gold Class Tire Gel "set". It doesn't look terribly shiny, but keeps that stuff off of my paint.
