Default SHIELD

Will this damage paint in anyway? Looks like a great tool for those random trips.

Oh wow, that's pretty cool. Could use that for country drives or track days. Still seems like if something big enough hits it, it's still going to mess up the paint from the force of the impact.

wish it came in clear though. white and black on the headlights doesn't seem like a good idea.

I would tape off headlights with tape and spray right around it. Fashion statement.

I've used it for a track day, seems ok though I don't think it can ever be made thick enough to really offer alot of protection. Comes in "clear" or black, the "clear" makes the car look matte. Washes off easily with soap and water. I really don't bother anymore.

I got all excited a year or so ago and bought a bunch of it. I think Wal-Mart carried it.

As much as people love to tape up their cars on the track, I've found the trip on the highway to and from the track be worse for the car than the track itself. I have one small scrape from tire fragments on the front lip. All 3-4 other small chips I have were from the road, not the track. This is after 4-5 HPDE's at some reasonably fast tracks.

In short, it would probably help with grime or MAYBE bugs but don't expect it to do a thing against rock chips.

This looks like just the thing for people (like me) who autocross a lot.

I wonder if it compromises the layer of wax/sealant under it? Might not matter. If it's as easy as they say it is to remove, it wouldn't take much longer to re-wax the affected areas if necessary. I'll be stopping by an auto parts store tomorrow, thanks for the tip!

I'd opt for this product over the spray on idea, I just don't like the appearance it gives to the front.

And I imagine with a heat gun you could lessen the wrinkle effect of this clear cover, anyone tried this product?

BAhahaha

I just thought of what to use it for. I will scare my friends thinking its primer on their paint by spraying their car down. Then they will flip. Then I will tell them they can wash it off.

"Let me fix that for you PSHHH PSHHHH"

"NOOOO"
