Scratches and dents on leather Steering wheel
I just got a steering wheel from a buddy of mine. It has a few scratches on the leather, as well as a little cut and an indent. I was wondering if anyone has restored their scratched up wheel before i take it to a professional and see what they have to say.
I have already tired to clean it and condition it. It took some scratches away but the major ones still remain. Any thoughts?

we have a leather expert who checks this thread:

i have been trying to merge the threads so he can see the question, but if you could post your question there, that might be easier!

Thanks for the headsup Wanabe...
In regards to the scratches, the rub-in products may work well, they will restore the finish to the areas where it has been work away.
The dents can be heated out, but that gets a little tricky, you may want a pro to take care of that.
Hope this helps,
Sean
