Default S2000 Fender Emblems

Long story short, I just got my car back from the body shop (correcting another body shops bad paint work). Both fenders were repainted (the repaint job is flawless) but the S2000 emblems don't seem right.

Driver's Side
The S and 2000 seem too spaced out
Also, the S looks odd to me, is it upside down? lol
Is there supposed to be spacing between numbers? I remembered the numbers touching

Passanger Side
Again, the S and 2000 look too spaced out
Again, Is there supposed to be spacing between numbers? I remembered the numbers touching
And it looks kinda crooked

The spacing looks ok between the side marker and the emblem... it's just the S and 2000 that looks like they need to be closer. Kinda funny, the easiest part of the job and it's the only thing I can find something wrong with

What do you all think about the spacing? Do any of you know the exact placement if the emblems?

They both look upside down and too far apart.

my recollection is that the helms manual has the info-
let me see if i can find it and post it back here...

i took this after i replaced mine-
best way is to tape around the old ones... so you know where they go
cant do that with a repaint though!!

it is on page 20-81 of the helms manual.

have scanned it and converted to both jpg and pdfs but neither will load as an image. not sure why...

I know i've seen a diagram somewhere that had the spacing for the emblems.

I'll see if I can find it...

**EDIT**

I couldn't find the one that I was thinking of, but I found a couple other things that might help.

This thread has a picture of the helms manual, but it doesn't look like you can click on the picture. At least I couldn't. It has the exact dimensions you need.

I found this one for the emblem replacement, but it is assuming that the original emblem is correct. But here it is anyway.

If I find that other one I am thinking of, I will post it.

Thanks bcs, the pic in the fist diagram shows the spacing perfectly... I'll just go back to the body shop and ask for new emblems, but I'll install them myself
