Rubbing alcohol and side emblem removal
Ok im still very new to the S2k and I have a noob question. I wanted to remove thee side S2000 emblems for a cleaner look. I cut the adhesive with floss and applied adhesive remover and rubbing alcohol to the adhesive to get it all off. When I was finished I washed the area and now it is very dull and looks like the clear coat is gone from the area where the I applied the rubbing alcohol!! What should I do?!?

agree with shutterlife-
it is possible that you have a light swirl haze.
a paint cleaner- which is a very light polish- might be needed to bring back the shine.
after that you would rewax.
wax can not make dull paint shine- it only can give it depth and protection

Yep everyone is right. Rubbing alcohol will not remove paint or the clear coat.. If I can use thinner on cars and not remove the paint then you are ok lol.. First like everyone said try some polish.. If that doesn't work if you can get some real light sandpaper wet sand the area until it looks dull and if you can find a wheel try compounding and polish it. Will look brand new again. Also next time try a heat gun you might like how it works.
