Default Results from Meguairs HEAVY DUTY headlight kit

So I finally decided that my headlights suck, and it makes my car look dirty haha , but anyway here are some before and after of my head lights

By hand, cordless drill, DA sander/polisher, or what?

I sanded them down with two different grits of sand paper , then applied the polish that came with the kit with a polish wheel that acutally came with the kit also , I attached it to a drill and poslished away, when you buy this kit it comes with detailed instructions

not sure when it came out but I think its a newer heavy duty version of the kit they sale with just the plastic polish, it was on sale for 21$ from my local part store

Just did my lights before winter and it's a impressive product. I have yet to wax over what I polish though, in which I will do when spring comes along and restore again.

If this was directed to me.. I did not use any sand paper. I just used a mirco fiber pad and just kept at it till the glazed went away-as directed in the directions in the back of the bottle.

It was directed to the OP, he said he used two different grits of sand paper before polishing the lights.

I used some PlastX on some old headlights a while back and it gave only moderate results. I think it would have looked better had I lightly sanded before polishing.
