restoring some unpainted plastic

restoring some unpainted plastic
I'm an instructor at a military school, and one of my students has a problem. While his car was parked at the barracks one night, a contractor spilled cement powder all over his very clean Mustang Mach 1. If that's not bad enough, the contractor decided to try and cover his ass by brushing it off with a push broom.
I'm pretty sure I can get 95% of the scratches out of the paint (it's that medium blue color). I'm not 100% solid on what if anything can be done to the unpainted, satin finished rear spoiler or the satin black racing stripe sticker on the hood. Any thoughts on those two?

got pics?
if its really plastic, its gonna be very difficult to get rid of scratches if they are at all deep. if light scratches you can improve them with plastic polish.
be very careful on the stripe- that is easy to damage more. polish isnt as likely a solution here. stripes usually have to be repaired or replaced.
but if we can see pics maybe we can try to judge what might work.

The sticker I'm less hopeful about. I just can't see repairing vinyl. I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask though.
I'll try to get some pictures of the damage to the wing soon, but I don't have a whole lot of faith in my ability to capture it in a picture. I'm 100% open to other ideas if anybody has some.

2000 grit final might be pretty close to the factory finish.

The vinyl will probably need to be replaced. Satin finishes are very unforgiving.
Is the spoiler plastic or Fiberglass? If it's made like the bumpers, you could detail/correct it the same, but not sure how it will affect the satin finish.
pics will help. good luck to your friend, and I hope you are able to help him out
