Default Reputable Car Wash in SFV

Quick question for any S2K owners in the San Fernando Valley. Does anyone use or know of a reputable and great car wash?

I just bought my S2K and don't have the facilities to wash it myself (I'm currently looking to move to change that.) I'm wanting to find a place that will really do a good job and will be careful.

Thanks.

I tried the car wash off Coldwater next to the freeway before I moved into a house. They did a decent job. Other friends had sent me there. Good luck on the move. Sounds lame, but I love washing my own car.

I went to a place here in Encino called Premier, and although I've seen expensive cars there, I wasn't impressed with their setup. I'd really hate to take it someplace and get those horrible swirls in my beautiful black paint. But the car needs a wash, so I'll probably end up taking it to a place in Beverly Hills that a co-worker recommended (he drives a C5.) I was hoping to find a local place, but I can't be too picky just yet.

Thanks for the reply.

Hmmm.... I haven't thought about one of those self-wash places. I'll have to do some searching tonight. Thanks S2R

There's a self wash in Van Nuys on Sherman Way and Kester, and one in Chatsworth on Devinshire and Canoga. Lived in a complex for 2 years that didn't allow me to baby my baby, so I used these. I'm sure there are others as well, this is SoCal...
If you just want a basic wash, Cruisers in Northridge is ok, and teh hand wash on Mason near Devonshire is decent too - but how good depends on the detail/dry guy you get. Slip him a fin when he starts, and point out anything you're specifically worried about - they work hard at that place (one guy worked for 7-8 minutes on a small scratch on the bumper of my eclipse without me even asking).
