Thanks Bob. Last night I read the article you posted. I saw that he (Bynon) said clear coat was not necessary but I would have put one on.
Do you use Autosharp colour or just clear coat?

I have used the autosharp pen - color, on some chips. Under the front bumper, etc. - in places where it is inconspicuious (sp). So far I am pleased with the results, the color match is excellent. I use the same prep and finishing process, but the bump is much smaller or non existant. On spots that are more visible, up till now, I have used standard Honda touch up paint.
I know of many people that don't finish with a clear coat, but the autosharp pen - clear - puts on such a thin coat and I think the reflective qualities are closer to the factory finish.
I have heard some conflicting reports on the color match for the autosharp pen for metallic colors. I would like to see some more reviews of the color match on the metallics.
