Removing Wax From Car
I am getting all my products together so that I can polish, glaze, and wax my car. It's my first time doing anything more than a wax.
So I want to make sure I am starting with a surface free of other products. What car wash should I use to make sure I am removing all previous waxes and such? I have heard dish soap works but I wasn't sure that was a good idea. I will be clay baring the car after washing if that makes any difference.
Thanks.

dawn is the choice of most...
however, if you will be claying and polishing, i would skip dawn (i dont like dawn anyway- it is overly harsh, imo) because you will be removing everything from the paint anyway with the polish (and also if you clay). use a high quality car shampoo... one that has good sheeting and sudsing action and one that provides lubricity (this is just about any high end shampoo out there).

What is considered high end? I've always used Meg's Gold Class. Or do I need to go higher?
