Removing Wax
#1
Hi all,
To feed my obsession, I thought I would strip the wax off my car, clay bar it, put on some polish and a coat of fresh wax...
I have heard that to remove the old wax completely you can use Dawn dishwashing detergent (or something similar). I have also heard of citrus-based car wash soap that will do the job... does anyone here have any better ideas/suggestions?
thanks
joe

[green]If you plan on using Zaino, check out their web site for information at http://www.zainobros.com
If it is indeed wax. Dawn will remove it. 1 oz.per gallon of water. If its a polimer like Zaino, use alcholol.
While the surface is clear the claybar is a good idea, but get something on it right away.[/green]
