Default removing swirls

i recently traded an 03 for an 05. the 03 was 2 years old,
never driven in rain, not a swirl on the car.

unfortunately, i washed the 05 yesterday after a month of ownership,
after washing and drying it in the garage, my it looks so good, i backed it
out and noticed some in spider web basically all over the car.

the 03 had nothing of the sorts after 2 years. i guess the phucking
guys that come out to wash the cars for the dealers, while they sit for
a new home, really did a number on the paint.

i dont want to call and bitch and moan and get nowhere.

what can be used to remove the scratched clearcoat to rid the car
of the spiderweb?
i dont want to mask or hide the swirls with wax or what-not.

any help is greatly appreciated

I would suggest to use Meguiar's scratch X on that and see what happens. It does wonders for the most part.

i like scratch x for small areas... if i have to do a whole car i like 3m swirl remover-
the product has to be really worked, as do all polishes.
porter cable is your friend with polishing!

Where is your sense of adventure ....

For future reference here are some unbeatable combos:

Meguiars #83 followed by Meguiars #80
PoorBoys SSR2.5 followed by SSR 1.0
Menzerna IP followed by Menzerna FP

Star with a Polishing pad on the PC; go to a cutting pad if the polishing pad does not cut it. Work in small sections and spread the material on speed 2-3. After the product is spread , crank up the PC to 6 and work in multiple passes until the material dries and starts to powder off. Then wipe off and marvel at the beauty; you will be left with a mirror finish!

Scrath-X and and 3-M products are OK but the combos above are better (IMO)

the car was done thursday afternoon.
looks amazing.
friday overcast and snow..go figure for texas.

today bright sunshine, so i backed it out into
the driveway.
the car looks amazing, the NFR is a big contrast
to the silverstone i gawked at for 2 years.

the guy who polished the car does the ferrari and high end
dealerships cars.

he was very impressed with the quality of the paint and build
of the car. he got a laugh when he told to open the gas cap.
i pop the little switch on the door jam and he says
'wow they copied ferrari'.

anyways to make a long story short
there isn't a flick of a scratch, even under his
flourescent lights. in the sun forget about it.

very happy

will have to conquer the buffers soon

gegege- glad your experience was good...
now you can begin maintaining it yourself- and next time hope you will do the polish too!
and the push button is just like the vanquish and a couple other hand made aston martins- who copied who on that one?!
