Default Removing Sticker Residue from Plastic Window

Hey guys, as the topic states what is safe to use to remove sticker residue from the plastic window on my S2000?

Any help would be appreciated.

There's a trick I learned that works better than most removers IMO. Use the sticker or duct tape or something strong like gorilla tape and repeatedly tap on residue over and over. Like "stick on/stick off" super fast. The duct tape/sticker should lift and "suck" up the residue with it. Sometimes helps to also tap on it at an angle but it's MUCH easier to use sticker adhesive to remove adhesive via a manual method than a chemical mess. Sometimes goo gone doesn't work but you can try that.

Believe it or not but WD40 will remove the residue from any surface glass, paint, etc. If on the painted areas just dont rub too hard.

Heat it with a hair dryer or hot water and rub in some vegetable oil. This works with many adhesives, though it takes a little patience.

Hot water by itself won't do squat. The heat will soften the adhesive a little, but not enough to remove it. Vegetable oil with heat breaks down many adhesives. It creates a slimy mess, but if you keep working it (especially with heat) it eventually comes off. That's how I remove sticker residue on household stuff with stickers.

You can try rubbing alcohol - that sometimes works.

Nailed it.

The best way ever is WD40 + taking a credit card and "cutting" through the glue.
