Removing spray wax off the roof
Hi,
I have a fair amount of dried spray wax on the back of my soft top roof
Ive tried a lot of different products but im finding it very hard to even budge the marks which cover a large area.
Does anyone have any experience or tips for this ?

what have you tried?
dawn soap with a good brush should do it... i have also used peanut butter and mayonaise-
i would also rewax the car after you get that wax off. at least some chance that whatever you use on the top will remove wax off of the car when you rinse it off the top.

Well, chiming in with a similar problem. Got the car repainted. Re-sanded, buffed and polished. got a few splatters on the top.
2 weeks in the sun, and the stuff won't come off.
Things/methods used:
Hose water.
Hose water through different nozzles/spray patterns.
Hose water with a toothbrush.
Pressure washer.
Gasoline-powered pressure washer at max setting, flat pattern.
Laquer thinner. (Don't use that. Bad)
Wax, grease, and silicone remover (degreaser).
NONE of the abovementioned methods worked! It suuuuuccckkkkkssss!
2 upholstery and 1 automotive shops later, the consensus is: REPLACE the top.
I used a permanent marker. And gave up. Did I say it sucks?
P.S. the rubbing compound was 3M's 06064. the good stuff.
