not sure if this is where this should be, but i bought a used supercharger recently and it was spray-painted black for a stealth look. what would be the best way to get it back to normal, you think? also have to do the intake tube and bov; lol. pita! well, i guess that's why it was so cheap. thanks, guys.

interesting question- paint isnt my area so i am replying to move this back up in case someone here knows paint (or should i say "unpaint"?!)

Paint remover or thinner might be a good start. Also, try nail polish. I dont know if they will work but they are suggestions.

They're some stuff called "aircraft remover" that takes paint off really easily.

try some clean strip paint remover. it comes in an aerosol can. can be found at home depot. I used this stuff to take the paint of the spark plug cover.

use it outside if you can and wear some gloves.
