I guess use a microfiber towel?

I just use a brush on my beater.

I use a foxtail with soft bristles which wont scratch the paint. I have been using it for 6 years on 2 S200'0's and no scratches. My wife has one for her 02 Lexus (Dark Red paint) and no scratches. I also use multi layers of Zaino. Dont use the nylon bristle brushes which come with the standard Auto store scrapers as they will scratch.

I should have been more clear -- the operative words there were "used to", referring to my 25 years in the Colorado and New Mexico mountains.

Here in Boca, the big problem is all the damned petals from all the flowering trees. Some stick, some leave little pollen smears, sheesh! HPH

I pull her outta the garage.

If possible I leave her in there until its all melted and gone.

BTW xviper, you were right about the joys of driving in the snow. i live in an abnormally large cul de sac, and got a 360 in on the ice yesterday. man alive that was fun (neighbors LOVE me).
