removing scratches on headlight?
I have a set of ap2 headlights that are not on my car and there a few scratches on them I want to remove. I bought a bottle of "Blue Magic Plastic and plexiglass cleaner (and light scrath remover)" and I am thinking of buying the Powerball by Meguirs(or is it Mother's ?). Anyways, I was wondering if you guys could give me some pointers on how to clean up the headlights and do this PROPERLY. I dont want to buy a porter cable either so its going to be somewhat tedious work I know.
My assumption is to use a microfiber towel and apply the Blue Magic cleaner and rub it in then use some sort of plastic polish and apply it with the powerball.
All help is appreciated.

I have modest amounts of scratches on my AP1 headlights - I've used PlastX on them (twice) and Plexus (every time I wash my car) and had really great results with that combination this weekend (I took out some frustration on the headlights).
Next step for me is trying some ScratchX, they were out when I went to the shop to buy some.
Never used the Powerball but I've heard good things, I'd be interested in seeing if that worked for you. Good luck!

My AP1 headlights have many fine scratches that ruin the clarity of the lens. I use a couple coats of Meguire's PlastX and they are good as new for a couple days. I really wish I could get it to last, but I'll take what I can get.
