Removing "s2000" emblem on fenders...
#11
People act as if the clear is so delicate. It's quite a bit more resilient and durable then you might think. Take some paint thinner or gas and rub the crap out of the clear and see if you can strike the paint. Show you how thick and durable it is and the paint thinner doesn't do anything.
In either case, heat it with a heat gun/blow dryer and then take a fishing line and remove it. The fishing line should remove it very easily.

Well.. maybe YOUR clearcoat on your '08 would stand up against a harsh abrasive, but my clear on my '01 would definately take a beating. Either way... i don't wanna try it on mine, but can't tell you that what you say is wrong either. Yea, i'll try the heat gun/fishing line one more time. thanks for the advice.

I used PB blaster and my fingernail. It didn't scratch the paint on my 04 at all. Followed that up with clay, polish, and wax. You can't tell that it was ever there.

hey S2000cr.... How comfortable are those seats? I've wanted those seats, or atleast the fabric ever since i first saw an interior pic of the CR's! Would you recommend them?

So last night after i got home from work, i pulled out my small can of Goo-Gone. I applied that to the "S" emblem on my left fender. Welllll, i actually quit after i finished up getting the sticky crap off behind the "S." This is NO JOKE about taking a "while" to remove all the sticky stuff! Well.... good thing i have ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD at work to do what i want... because my plan is, today i need to set aside a couple hours at work to remove both fenders emblems. I am in retail and am lucky enough to have a bunch of "extra" time while i'm working, so i'll definately take advantage of it. I'll keep ya'll posted. Thanks for all of the replies people-
