Yea I agree I'll most likely need to buff it out. I still need to try to heat it up but I doubt it'll work

Guess I'll have to borrow someone's buffer... Thanks for the help everyone! I'll let you know what else I try.

I'd just go ahead and polish them. It's not worth buying all of the different compounds you could try out. Btw, did you ask Andy about it? He might be able to do it for you.

Well I finally got around to fixing the headlights. I ended up using the 3M Headlight Restoring Kit, which cost me $17.

Nice. Looks good. What was included in the kit? How did you like it?

The kit comes with an electric drill attachment, 500 grit disks, 800 grit disks, a 3000 grit wet-sanding disk, a foam polishing disk, and a packet of polish.

I liked it a lot. Especially for the money. I don't have a buffer and its kinda expensive to buy all the materials for this kinda thing, so it worked for me. The headlights look good as new too.

I can post up a DIY/Review of the kit in this forum if you guys want? I have plenty of pictures

I think that would be a great addition to the knowledgebase here in Wash and Wax. Go for it!
