Default Removing Product from Leather Perforations....?

After treating my leather seats I ended up with some conditioner in the holes of the perforated leather. Has anyone found a way to get this cleaned, I don't want to poke every little hole to get the stuff out, any advice would be helpful, thanks for reading.

you can try a vacuum cleaner- be careful though (mine lets me control the amount of suction and i would find the lowest setting that does the job). and actually, i would just toothpick it out. royal pia, but it works... been there/ done that!!

oh okay I like the vacuum suggestion, I never thought of that one, I'll give it a shot, hopefully I can avoid the toothpic method, lol. Thanks

Try an old soft toothbrush with the vacuum, it should help lift the remaining product.

thanks for the brush tip, I may be able to find a nice soft brush that will do the trick along with the vacuum.

Based on the advice in the leather thread, I've been using an air compressor to blow it out. It works fairly well.

buy a brush that you use to polish shoes. i believe its a horsehair brush. the hairs are stiff but not too stiff. use it in a stabbing motion like you are punching the seats with the brush. the hairs will poke into the holes and clear them out.

What happens if you leave the leather conditioner in there? A toothpick sounds like a PITB, but I guess it'd be worthwhile if it was absolutely critical to the leather/seat cushion.

Other than having it potentially dry to unsightly white dots, nothing.
