Default removing overspray on passenger window

Hi,

as most know my car was repainted this past fall. Anyways, there is some noticable overspray on the passenger side window (NFR) that is noticable on sunny days and when I put a white piece of paper on the other side of the window. The window is also a little rough like there was some clear coat overspray as well but I can't visibly see that.

There are a few ways I though possible to remove this, but I welcome your suggestions.

Razor blade scrape
acetone, ahah

Isn't there a method that I can just wipe the window and make it disappear though?

It may not be the right way, but I would use some Invisible Glass window cleaner to wet the area and hit it with a razor blade. I don't know if a clay bar would take it all off.

Try the least agressive method first. I would try the claybar, and if that doesnt work, then a glass cleaner and a razor blade.

Let us know how you make out

Warm very soapy water and a razor. The soap acts as a lubricant to prevent scratching the glass, hold the blade as parallel to the glass as possible and the paint will come off.

Thanks for the responses. I'll tackle that this weekend and post some before and after pictures. It's hardly noticable, but as a wacko, I sure notice it

I just had my right front fender, bumper and headlight replaced after a taxi backed into my car. There was overspray on my windshield and passenger window. The body shop I went to used glass cleaner and OOO triple "O" steel wool. (very fine) They forgot to do the passenger window so I did it myself just like they did.

1. Spray glass cleaner (safe for tints, not windex w/vinegar) on window.
2. Spray cleaner on steel wool pad and very softly go over the clearcoated spots.

You will find that it moves around very freely(don't scrub hard just moderate will do. Worked great for me and no scuffs, scratches! Good luck.
