removing emblem tape?

Default removing emblem tape?

hey guys i just removed my s2000 emblems off both sides of the car and there is still alot of tape stuck to the fender....any suggestions best and easiest way to remove the tape with out damaging the fender or paint???

I used dremel tool w/ polish head took all the dried sticky tape off in less than 3 min on each fender. Fast, easy and effective

Wow! I imagine you could easily take off the paint with the adhesive.

3M Adhesive remover will take that tape off no problem without risk of removing the paint as well. You can find it in most hardware stores and many auto parts stores.

about the side emblem,.. they only stick to the car with a tape??? how bout the front and back emblem??? planning to de badge my car, tried to do it with my old teg turns out that the front is like bolted,...

the front and rear both have holes when u remove the emblems...

Sides are only on there with some tape. I took about half an hour each side with a credit card and a can of pb blaster. It was a PITA but so worth it. The trunk and hood emblem will leave holes behind them.

I used a dremel with polish pad soaked in goo gone. Quick easy and fast.

if you dont have a dremel or rubber tool for removing tape. Id suggest rubbing all the foam off with your finger then using an adhesive remover.
