Default removing bug after being dried on

hey guys i just drove up to orlando for the weekend for have some fun at universal. this time of the year is horrible for lady bugs. i just cleaned my car wash/polish/polish the whole 9 yeards. tonight in the parking garage i noticed the dried bug guts didnt polish out. i used menzerna super intensive polish middle cut with a orange pad with my poter cable. it quite didnt do the job, should i use more aggressive polish or a more agressive pad? is there anything you guys use that removes bug guts easily?

Have you ever used something like Turtle wax bug and tar remover ?, spray it on and let it soak and the should wipe away after softening up.

Bug B Gone is an awesome bug remover. I have never used anything that works so well.

love bugs are the devil. They should be cleaned immediately. My previous car had love bugs baked on and could never get the guts off. Looks like it ate the through the clear coat/paint. It was really bad. Made me invest in a clear bra for my S.

May be an extreme step but I KNOW this should do the trick! Lightly wet-sand the area with 2500 grit sand paper until those guts are gone. After that, just 3m compound/polish the fine scratches out.

I use a product called Bugs Away. Spray it on let it sit for 5 minutes, hit it with a high intensity spray and wipe. great stuff.

If I cant get them off with a thumbnail and elbow grease, this is my go-to product. It works pretty well - but you do have to let it soak. I suggest a good wash, spray - scrub like crazy - respray - scrub some more - Bug Remover - scrub - spray.

I agree. Their body's contain an acid that actually eats into the paint - so if you ever see them on the car, be sure to get them off ASAP.
