Default Removed window tape. there's still some goo left

What could i do? I tried heating it up, but nothing. Used bug and tar remover, also nothing...

I know this is stupid but I used Paint thinner on mines and it came off. No harm was done to the paint.

I finally got it off. I just went back to the bug and tar remover and let it sit for awhile. Thanks again for the help guys.

i would add to the list of ideas posted above:
wd-40
polish

and dont forget to rewax, no matter which method you use!

wd-40... i was actually thinking about using that... But didn't know if it will harm the clear coat or not.. Man my thumb is sore from taking the tape off. lol

To remove tape 'goo" without doing any damage to the window or paint, use alcohol (no, not the type you drink!). Rubbing alcohol works great!!

nope- wont hurt anything, but keep it off of the rubber.
and, again, be sure to rewax any area treated with wd-40 or any other removal product
