LoL wanabe. I remove my seats usually every month, to do a full interior detail.... Gives me better access to cleaning the seats and such.
Tips: As stated, watch out for the wires, its a simple clip in plug, easy to undo. Just lift the little snap part, and it slides out, only seen it on the drivers side. ALSO, make sure you watch out for the sliders, IIRC, remove the front bolts first, so you can slide the seat entirely forward, to cover the sliders, that way the sliders don't stick out around the seat, making it awkward...
This almost might be a good time to (If Applicable) talk to the wifey into investing in a carpet cleaner . Should make the job a little easier.

We have one for the house. A few weeks ago I took out the carpet in my car and used the cleaner to do the carpet pieces. I'm not sure I would do the regularly, but it worked great!
