Iceman --
I've been using Hayward Honda since they're right down the hill from me -- I pass the dealer every single day just to get to BART. But they've really been very good to me so far and I recommend them. Both Paul and Dave in service are hot about the S2K and the service foreman, Mark Jackson, is as well. So they treat my precious S2K like it should be. And I try to be fair with them as well -- haven't pushed them on the grind, yet. Or the clutch noise. though the clutch noise is starting to be a problem and I may have to discuss it with them. But when I wanted the rear window replaced, I brought the car in, let them look at it, they brought the Service Director (another Paul) over, we talked -- I explained about the TSB, about my Muz mat and tube, and that I felt that I'd done my part to protect the window. He agreed, and made the case to the regional mgr later that week. We set up an appointment and they did it in one day. (farmed out to King Covers).

Glad to hear about Honda Hayward. I went there a few times when I was looking for a S200 and they seemed really nice for a smaller dealership.
I work in Hayward so I might consider them if I need service in the future. I'm surprised I've never seen you on the streets. Not many S2000's in Hayward.

Wonder if the glass window seen on the 2002 model will fit in our cars? If so, you may want to wait and see. I know I would prefer a glass rear window even if it is a bit smaller. No more polishing and worrying about the crease in the plastic. Plus, people will think I have an '02 model.
