Default Rear window care?

I have read a couple of threads suggesting Meguires Plastx and other products; however the rear window in my 06 seems to be glass. So my question is were the rear windows in some of the previos MYs different to mine and thus the suggested care different?? Or am I wrong about the composition of the rear window and need to be using Plastx or a similar product?? I have already done a cleaning using a regular window cleaner and rainx, just want to know if I need to avoid doing this again.

It's glass, and you can clean it with glass cleaner. The glass rear window was introduced in MY 2002; previous models had a plastic window.

agree that glass cleaner on glass is best. and rainex is a good choice too. or you can use any synthetic. zaino on my entire car right now (includes plastic lenses, and glass windshield).
on the older plastic windows, plexus is the best choice for "normal" cleaning... for really bad haze, megs plastx is a good choice. and if really really bad, combine it with mothers powerball.
