Default Ragtop application on a Sky

Sorry guys but I could not pass this up. I found this the Sky forum and thought it was quite funny. Guess it never crossed their mind to spray the Ragtop on a rag and wipe it on the top.

They have canvas tops. Spraying directly onto the canvas is the best method.

yes- canvas tops are a real pia-
you have to mask the entire car before spraying !!
i use old sheets to mask with when doing fabric tops. open the top part way, sheet the car and then put top back up

That's why when people ask about "upgrading" to a canvas top on an S2000 I usually try to steer them away from it. Our PVC top is so much easier to care for and it already looks like cloth.

Did my raggtop application today . Walk away from car, spray on foam applicator pad and come back and rub it in to a spot.

REPEAT. & Buff off the top at the end.

Not so hard.

Imagine how much protectant they're going to get soaked in that top. It'll never age .
