that is awesome Rob.
btw, animeS2k, I have another question. How long do i have to wait in between polishes and waxes if i follow the "Perfect Shine" process?
thanks in advance!

between polishing steps, no wait time. between polishing and waxing, no wait time.
it's recommended that you allow the Klasse AIO to "cure" for a few hours at least before you apply the P21S. By cure, that means that you apply AND remove the Klasse, then wait for the coat that you've applied to harden and cure.

ok so I've read alot about detailing and I think I know what products i'll be buying/using so here's the list:
wash:
-sonus gloss shampoo
-sonus ultimate wool wash mitt
-sonus der wunder drying towel
softtop:
-oxo wash brush
-ragtopp fabric/vinyl cleaner
-ragtopp vinyl top protectant
-plexus plastic polish
detail:
-sonus sfx ultrafine detailing clay
-sonus glyde detailing clay lubricant
-sonus sfx-1
-sonus sfx-2
-sonus sfx-3
-Klasse AIO
-P21S Wax
now after reading several articles, I am still unsure of whether to buy a pc or not to apply polish and wax. Aside from saving time and effort, what other differences are there in the results from using a PC instead of doing it by hand? Also how do I know how much clearcoat I'm taking off when using Sonus SFX-1?
thanks

Some prefer to use the PC to apply and remove wax, but not me. Maybe for removing the Klasse (which needs to be applied very thin and very evenly), but not for regular waxes.
Where you need the PC is for the SFX polishes (or any polishes for that matter). Doing that step by hand will take forever and you'll never get the results that you can get with the machine. Don't worry about removing a lot of clearcoat with the PC and SFX-1 - it's not going to be a significant amount even if you really TRY to remove the clear. With a rotary, yes, you can damage the paint, but with the PC even polishing twice or three times a year isn't going to cause any problems.
BTW, you can skip the clay lube if you ask me - just mix up a dilution of regular car wash and water in a spray bottle.

animes2k, is there any reason why you never used the orange sonus das foam pad while applying sfx-1? i noticed that you used the green sonus das foam pad for the sfx-1 and sfx-2's application, and then used the blue foam pad for sfx-3.
thanks

mjay: i never used the orange pad because I had used the white pad with the rotary, which was more than enough to knock down the worst of the problems. If I had been using JUST the PC, I would likely have used the orange pad.
