Question for Zaino Experts
This is probably a dumb question, but as a Zaino newbie, I wanted to know if there is any problem with using a claybar over a few coats of zaino. I haven't washed the car in about a month and I think going over it with a claybar would help, but didn't know if this would affect the previous coats of Zaino.
Your help and any other relevant comments would be greatly appreciated.

Normally you would wash with Dawn to remove zaino and old wax...then clay so the clay has access to the paint surface to remove impurities and embedded particles.
So to answer your question, the clay will remove zaino and wax.

Got it. I did the whole Dawn/Claybar/Wash/Zaino process when I aplied the coats initially, but dont' really want to remove the coats right now. I guess I'll just make sure the wash removes any debris and then apply an extra coat.

Pinnacle's new "ultra" poly clay is so fine that if used with a good lubricating clay lube and light pressure, will remove most if not all newly aquired contaminants from your paint without disturbing your LSP(last step product). I have tested this out myself as well as a few others on autopia with suprising results! Now keep in mind, if you have things like embedded rail dust and the like, you will have to use a good amount of pressure to remove the spots, thus sacrificing your LSP. Just some food for thought.....
