Default Question On OEM Car cover

Has anyone ever had the front of the Car cover come up onto the hood because of wind ?

I am not sure if someone just came by and did it or if it was possibly wind. there is a slight breeze outside but nothing that should cause that.

No damage or anything, its just annoying to thinks someone might have put their paws on my car

Thanks,

Why do you say that. I'm in arizona and for nearly 5 months its been working fine. I don't use it in rain.

have never had mine blow off...
i guess that someone had their paws on it.

you can tie it down with a soft rope (doesnt get the front end, but will hold the cover on the car if you are worried)- in the past i have used nylon ropes tied through the eyes of covers (have not had to tie down the honda cover and it has been in some good winds)- did this on other cars and usually when i parked where i had some concern about theft...

It's an indoor dust cover. The material has no protection from UV. That doesn't much matter for the car but for the material itself. The sun will make it brittle and it will fall apart.

Ah yes. Cant argue much with that. It will probably take all the rays and I'll probably end up replacing it then. At that time I'll have to buy one that has UV.
