Question about polishes
I was at the auto store the other day looking for a good polish--nothing abrasive. I noticed that Maguires has their gold class stuff and there are 3 steps--paint cleaner, polish and wax. I'm not interested in the wax. However it sounded like the paint cleaner and polish are both polishes. Anyways, any one have any experience? Also, recommend something that is a good non-abrasive polish that ya'll use.
Also, this is completely separate, but I got some of the endurance tire gel on my top--just a small spot and I can't wipe it off. Anyone got some tips to try for removing it, or should I just wait til it comes off over time?

Traditionally polishes always had some type of mechanical abrasive. Anymore companies are using "polish" very loosely. Zaino isn't really a polish even though the bottle says "Show Car Polish."
You may be looking for a chemical cleaner or paintwork cleanser like P21s Paintwork cleansing lotion, Pinnacle cleansing lotion or Medallion premium paint cleaner. These contain no or very little abrasive action. Also on the light side is Vanilla Moose (my personal favorite). I don't care for Mequiars three step system.
On your top, mix a solution of dishwashing detergent and water. Use a soft bristle scrub brush and work the area a few times. Let it dry then apply 303.
