Default Protecting Wiper Arms and Tray underneath

Admittedly this is a retentive question but I figure I am in good company

What are you guys applying to the wiper arms and the plastic tray underneath for UV and protection?

I have another older car and this area has taken a beating over the years.

Thanks!

Does Vinylex or 303 stick around after a rain or car wash?

Maybe I'll try some Raggtopp on the plastic tray underneath the wipers...any reason why this is a bad idea? I'll have to get some wax on my wiper arms though, that is a good idea!
