Product Review
Today I finally had some time to spend with the daily drivers. My wife and I washed the Subaru along with the Jetta. The S is safely tucked away in the garage.
Review 1: Foam Gun
Bought from Detailers Domain and finally got to use it. It worked quite well. I was pretty impressed with the suds produced. My only complaint is that it does use more car wash soap than a traditional method (buckets). The Subaru was fairly clean so this was just a quick wash. I must say that the spray piece (handle) is probably the nicest pistol sprayer I've ever used.
The Jetta was then washed the same way. You can see the suds produced from the gun. The Jetta was filthy. I do feel that the foam gun helped loosen a lot of the dirt on the car.
After the wash the following was done:
Clay
Orbital
Polished the front end (Griot's #3 Machine Polish).
P21's synthetic/ cleaner wax the entire car
P21's carnuba wax
Cheap Armoral spray foam on tires
Wolfgang headlight applications
Horrible hazing on the headlights. The car is a bit over 6 years old and is never garaged.
Overall, I thought the Wolfgang product did a good job, but not great. There's a previous post from another member who wet sanded his and I feel his turned out better. Either way it is a nice improvement from what it was. My recommendation would be to get this product if your headlights aren't too bad, but wish to improve. If it's a major job go and do the wet sanding. The car also turned out nicely.
Yes, that's me with a cane. I've been temperarily handicapped thanks to a drunk driver.

I got the exact same foam gun from DD, I love that thing as well.
However, my luck isn't as good as you with the spry gun part. My sprayer trigger gets stuck a lot, so I actually have to pull it back to fully shut the water off when I'm soaping the car.

Yup, Detailers Domain when they ran a special a few months back. Don't remember the exact amount, but I got a discount and free shipping. Seeing how I've only used the gun twice now, I still have no complaints. One thing I did notice was it can be hard to get inside of the fender whels with the gun attached.
