Default Pristine Auto: 1994 Honda Accord

Hey guys-

Today I began work on my neighbors 1994 Honda Accord. The inside was in great shape for a car of its age, and it only has 80k miles! The outside was obvious they had never had it detailed before, and had run it through hordes of auto-washes. The lady is giving it to her granddaughter for her first car and wanted it all cleaned up. I talked her into getting complete paint correction after I did a demo of how it *could* look on her trunk. Ill let the pics do the talking...

After washing but before anything else. Horrific swirls, marring, scratches, etc, etc, etc...

Did the rear door with Poorboy's SSR2.5, obviously not the left one.

After SSR1.0

That's all for tonight. I only did 2 steps tonight on half the car so I have some more work to do tomorrow evening into Wednesday, but Ill be sure to post up the rest of the pictures.

Great job getting those swirls out.

What pads were you using with SSR2.5 and SSR1?

You did that with 2.5, 1, and a PC?!

I was about to trash my 2.5 and 1 after I got the menzerna.. didn't think they'd do menzerna justice.. but obviously they are all they used to be cracked up to be?

What speeds? Pads? How many passes?

I do prefer Menzerna products but I am going to use these both up. It was the SSR2.5 with 4 passes, SSR1.0 with 2 passes. I used the yellow and orange pad respectively both on speed 6. And yes, it was with a PC.

great work with the poorboy's. i have there stuff as well as the menzerna. gotta use the poorboys up like you do soon, becasue as agressive as the menzerna can get, it still leaves a good shine no matter what the cut is.
