I dont think SIP/Orange would remove THAT much clear, but you def have to be careful. If you take care of the car once its polished out like this, you should never have to go that aggressive again, and the lighter polishes remove hardly any clear at all..

So you think it would be safe to use something as mild as Final Polish II once or twice a year for the life of the car to keep it looking 100% even on super soft s2000 paint? In my past research this is what i concluded i just wanted to get your opinion. I even bought a paint gauge to measure what i took of on my paint however I did not measure before my one and only major polish so i don't have anything to compare the numbers to.

I'm all for 3m as I worked in many body shops.
Is this the order you used these?
Menzerna SIP/Orange
Menzerna 106fa/White
UK 3M Ultrafina/ UK 3M Finishing Pad
Which vendor has the best price on these right now anyone know or care to post/Pm that info? I bought a Silverstone s2k just because I know how tough black is but, everything else I own is black!
This looks good enough to correct 3000 grit from wetsanding as well. Have you had any oportunity to try this porcess on newer paint?
