Default Prepping for touch-up paint

What would be suggested for cleaing a paint chip before applying Honda touch-up paint? I just want to remove any wax, dust, grime, etc. before painting but I don't want to use anything that will leave a residue or moisture that will have any adverse effect. Thanks.
