Post Detail Concern
So over the weekend I deatailed the S. I used Griots Machine polish 3 and thier random orbital. I noticed that there are small tiny little crescent shaped scratches on my car. Is that normal? Do I need to go to the next polish up to remove them? Also some of my swirls didnt come out, I didnt think that they were to bad but is it possible I need to step down and use a more aggresive polish on those stubborn areas?
Thanks for any input, this was my first ever detail with a ROP.
Will get some pics up soon!

yes, pics would be very helpful-
wondering if your polish or the pads did this...
since you used a random orbital, even if this is "machine applied" you should be able to get them out. prob a more aggressive (and different brand) polish will do it. also will need to "step down" to a less aggressive one.
pics first please-

While taking pics i saw that they are small tiny swirl marks. I would just need a finer polish right?

Griots recommends another pass or two with the mp3...see their website for more details. I really like their stuff. I'd post a link but i'm on my iPhone.

I can't offer any advice on their products, but it usually a couple passes with the aggressive polish, then 1-2 passes with a medium polish, then a pass with a finishing polish.
what pads do they have or what pads are you using?
its possible you are not using the right pad with the polish.

I'm not sure what level of aggressiveness Machine Polish 3 is, but I would recommend that you step down polishes as Slanguage describes.
