Well, I didn't say Sonus glaze, tho SFX3 does have some fillers in it, if I'm not mistaken. My glaze of choice is ClearKote's Red Moose Machine Glaze (RMG). Either that or Meguiar's #7 on single stage.
I've only ever used Souveran paste wax from Pinnacle, so I can't comment on their other products.

i have the pinnacle wax, for $70, not worth it at all. smells damn good, like buttercream. seems like a jar would last a long time though.
Personally, I've used Soveran and I think it's better than most waxes available. Of course, whether the extra money is worth it or not is a purely personal decision. You can get a pretty shiney car with a $10 wax too, but IMO the boutique products create a deeper, wetter, more reflective shine.

I use a wool(true wool) pad with Optimum compound with the PC on like 2, and it removes pretty much everything. The I do the same process with a yellow pad. Then you have nothing to worry about when it comes to burning the paint. I think I've only used my PC on 5 or 6 like 2-3 times ever, and that was just to see the difference it made compared to my highspeed.
