Poorboys World SSR Line
Sooo much better than Meguiars! Just as effective as Meguiars but the difference for me is how easy it is to remove afterwards! You literally have to buff off most of the Meguiars products while the SSR just wipes right off.
With SSR 2.5 I can take out most swirls and go straight to sealant.
Plus it smells great

Been using DACP and SWP for years. Never had a problem. You need to work DACP until it breaks down. If you use them correctly they both turn into a powdery like substance that removes easily.

I started with 3M, then DACP and #80, then tried SSR2.5 and have finally landed on Optimum. Even the most aggressive, Hyper Compound, finishes down LSP ready on my car. But the best part about it? NO DUSTING. I absolutely HATE dusting. The price is right, too (about $15/qt).
That said, I still finish with Menzerna 106FF/RMG combo. The RMG reduces 106's dusting significantly and the combo just looks great.

Optimum is good stuff no doubt but i see complaints about DACP from time to time. If you are wiping up wet DACP from your car with a towel, you did something wrong. If it's difficult to remove, you did something wrong.

simon: did you sell your S and buy that elise (exige?) in your sig?
As far as optimum working in... I found that it does so rather quickly - or rather in normal time it's just that it doesn't dry out and powder, allowing you to work it longer and break down the abrasives to nothing. You just wipe it up wet.
ubetit: I honestly haven't given DACP a good test since I got the rotary. It's worked for me in the past, followed with #80, but I think it has a steeper learning curve than I was willing to work with at the time.

Really...I should give DACP a try again on a worn out finish, If I remember correctly, I broke it down to powder state and it was a PITA..like hazed wax. Maybe I used too much? Too little?

My guess would be too much product. That's a common theme with the guys I've tried to train. Turn them loose and the want to use a ton of polish. The rotary is more sensitive to that because the pad will load up and it gets gummy.
