Polymer polishes can change molecular structure of paint?
Just read an article frpm AMI Auto World Magazine that states:
"For the shine the pros prefer, you want a pure carnauba wax that contains no silicone, polymers, or Teflon, any of which can change the molecular structure of paint."
Are there any paint gurus out there that can comment on that one?
Hmmm, maybe Zaino was developed by X-men :-)

I have been using Pro Polymer II paint sealant on my car and my customer's cars for 2 years and it's all good. I haven't come across anything claiming that Polymer sealant is bad for the paint finish.

there is no such thing as pure carnauba wax.
aint a product on the market that is even close to 100% pure carnauba . . . it would be rock solid.
the, umm . . . pros, prefer the shine that silicone gives . . in some cases.
its pretty easy to find someone to say anything about anything.
all i need to do is find one detailer, and convince him that the olive oil i have is the best damn shine in a bottle for his cars - and there you have it. Now I can say the same quote, only inserting olive oil in place of carnauba wax
as you read through the rest of the magazine - do you notice any advertising for car care items or companies? ?
anyways - Zaino does not alter the finish - to the contrary - it makes what sits above it (your finish protection) crystal clear so your paint shines through.
