Default polish for chrome tip?

My exhaust tips don't look as shiney as they could. What do you use to clean and polish them? Any old chrome polish from the auto store???

I'll admit it, for that the anyold polish seems to work just fine (I think mine is turtle wax branded) I hardly have anything that gets chrome polished anymore. Rubbing compound works alright too.
