Menzerna Glaze then Menzerna FMJ is the combo I use now. My question was can I use the glaze or the FMJ on a paint finish that hasn't been entirely stripped of old wax.

clay will also help remove any old wax on the car.

do not know about a glaze then the fmj... but, hey we love experiements here!! worst case would be that the fmj wont adhere well.

maybe someone here has tried a glaze before fmj--- ??

Why would Menzerna make a Glaze that was not Compatible with their FMJ. Don't most people use a glaze after a Final Polish or do they just skip over to a paint sealant such as Zaino or FMJ.

I clay bar, use a mild polish if there are any swirls or small scratches then use Klasse which is a German formulated acrylic/polymer. I use a Porter Cable DA polisher with the new constant pressure foam pads in varying degrees of density for polishing and final application of Klasse. Klasse is very easy to apply and remove and I sometimes apply Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze as a final step and get fantastic results.
