Plastic Scratch
Hey Guys,
I know this off our usual subject, but if we can talk tractors, this is fair game...
I went camping this past weekend and my girlfriend's jeep got very, very dirty (mostly intentionally). When we got back to the camp site one day, a friend of hers, traced her initials in her plastic rear window, leaving scratches.
Any suggestions on scratch removal on plastic? Is this possible? I figured some of you AP1 guys with the plastic might have a suggestion.

You need to get a plastic "polish" and go to work on it buffing or rubbing the scratches out. Maguiar's makes such products. Once done, finish off with Plexus to give it a good shine and a little bit of a protective coating.
A "finger gillotine" is recommended for the friend.

right on xviper!
go kinda careful with that plastic polish and do a small section as a test first. once you are happy then go for the rest of it. i have seen plastic parts messed up by plastic polishes that were too aggressive (or too aggressively applied)- its not quite like polishing the paint... you gotta be a lot more careful with the process.

and i can tell tractor-envy from a mile away!!!
