Default Plastic and leather treatment.

For the plastic, leather, and rubber parts of your car, I recommend Meguiar’s Super Shine. It sprays on and wipes off. It provides UV protection. And the shine doesn’t have to be “super”. For areas like the top of the dashboard, use just a little. On the seats, use a bit more. On the tires, use a lot! This stuff isn’t like a lot of stuff that stays greasy on these surfaces. It dries rather hard. On surfaces that are prone to abrasion or wear, it will wear off, but in a rather long time. Available in spray bottle at most car parts stores.

i haven’t posted here for a good while. We moved and I lost the log in info. By way of re-introduction, I am the former moderator of the MBCA detailing forum. I am not now because that board dispensed with forum moderators. I devised the “Dolebludger Mod”, which is a CAI + ram air that won’t hydro-lock (unless you try to drive your S 2000 through a flood). I have a one owner, 2001 S 2000 with 37K on the ODO. Looks, runs, and smalls like new. It;s good to be back!
