If you feel up to it, remove that piece from the center console and polish it up by hand with some of that Pinnacle polish and it'll remove the rest of the dull-looking finish, leaving a high-gloss silver plastic underneath!

You don't need to remove anything. Just use alcohol and a rag and rub at it, it will remove all of the silver "paint" and uncover the "chrome" finish beneath.

or buy a previous year center console.
Personally I like the black look just as well. It still has a very faint sparkle to it, and it is a gloss black. Accents the shift boot well.
