Thumbs up PC pads are no longer sticky!

hey guys, well after polishing my car for hours on end I have found my pad does not have the velcro stickyness any longer and my pads just fly off... not very good... do pads just last like...once use? or am i doing something wrong or is there a way to revive the pad??

have you tried a spur on the pad?
sometimes called duo spur-
they are for roughing up the pad...
have not had your problem before, but the spur would be my first try for a fix if i had the problem!

what pads are you using??

really? it happend to every last one of my pads, maybe im pushing too hard or on too high setting. It was an orange light cutting pad and grey finishing pad(not sure of the brands so hopefully that will ring a bell) it came in a package with the PC and 2 polishes.

the edge pads are a solution to this problem...

where did you buy the pads?

Autogeek.com would these edge pads be available thru autopia's market thing since i have a $10 birthday coupon? lol also what color pads should i get?

depends on how aggressive you need to go...
most guys who buy the entire kit never use the most aggressive pads-
also depends on whether you will use the machine to apply product. if so, the non-aggressive pad and the next two more aggressive ones are likely to get pretty much everything that you will need it for unless you are doing several cars.

dont think that autopia carries edge...
