DAMN!!! I like that!!!

I've done my headlights...

Buuut, if you don't mind, how exactly did you do the taillights... I've heard they are an extreme P.I.T.A.!!!!!!!!!!

I love the look and looks like a real clean job... Good for you!!!!!

Hey thanks, I knew there would be someone out there that liked it. Yes it was a PITA. You can seperate the clear lens from the base by using the oven method 225 degrees for 10 minutes-need several tries to get them apart. Use paint thinner to get all the old black sealer off the base and the clear lens. After using the paint thinner I let it soak in the sink with warm water and soap. Use Meguiars PlastX and Pluxus to bring the shine back in the clear lens. Get the base unit painted at a body shop and use Permitex clear 66B to reseal it. The worse part of this is removing the black sealant. I must admit that it looks better in person than in pictures. What makes it nice is the red side markers really stand out and I think it would look good in white also.

Damn, I'm not so sure I'm that brave just yet to tackle that project...

Like I said, looks flawless and exotic to me... Now I agree that NOT all colors would benefit or look clean by doing this...

I'm very proud of mine and think it now has that unique/one-off look that you rarely see and you should be proud of yours too...

Thanks for the info on the taillights... Maaaaybe one day I'll attempt it...

I finished up the taillight painting project. Here are some more pictures of the entire car. It was very cloudy outside when I took the pictures.
It looks great. You nosed it and shaved it so why did you leave the H on the deck?

I did not even think about leaving off the trunk emblem, I thought the JDM look on the trunk was kind of neat looking. This whole thing started when I hit a deer and I guess I got a little crazy. Glad some of you like the mods and hope it gives you some ideas of how it looks when finished.

reminds me of those cheap s2000 toys where the inner housing of the head/tail lights are the color of the car...

I like the front very much, especially with the clear diffusers. The rear lights, not so much. Just too much contrast with the red is the problem for me. Regardless, it looks like you have done a beautiful job on the car. Very good quality, clean, and tasteful. Very nice.

for being different. I bought an extra set of taillights and was going to do exactly the same thing but got lazy. I've read too much about cracking the rear lens covers to want to tackle the job.

Installing the JDM smoked style front diffusers was enough work for me.
